Fox News host J.B. Abrams is a “proud to live” African-American, a Fox News spokesperson confirmed.
The Fox News personality and the network have been working on a new TV show for more than a year, with the pilot set to premiere on Monday, Jan. 14.
The program is being described as a “comedic take on the reality TV format,” and will feature guests including actor Danny Masterson and former President Barack Obama.
Abrams was born in Harlem, New York, and has since graduated from high school in California.
The actor has appeared in a number of films and TV shows, including the Oscar-nominated “Fences,” “The Great Gatsby” and “The Shawshank Redemption.”
