LeBron James said Friday that Nike will begin selling Bala sneakers in China.
The Cavs superstar told reporters after the Cavs’ game against the Celtics that he will start to sell Ballys in China, which is the home country of NBA superstars Kevin Durant and LeBron James.
The shoes are worn by NBA stars in the country, which was recently added to the list of official footwear brands in China and the NBA’s Global Trade Initiative.
Ballys have become a staple for LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love and Dwyane Wade, but Nike has not made them available for sale.
In February, LeBron James told ESPN that Nike would “not be able to sell the shoes,” but the NBA star said he is still willing to purchase sneakers in the future.
Last year, Nike said it would be launching in China in 2017, but it has not started selling shoes yet.
